By accessing or using our services, including our website (https://www.surestpay.com/) and mobile application (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

  • You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Services Provided

SurestPay provides a wallet-based platform that allows users to make payments for bills and services, including utilities, airtime, data, internet, and other digital services. Additional features may be introduced over time and will be subject to these Terms or any additional terms communicated to you.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.

  • Keep your login credentials confidential.

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

  • Be solely responsible for all activities conducted through your account.

4. Payment Terms

  • All payments made through SurestPay are final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payment details.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reverse transactions suspected of fraud or unauthorized use.

5. Use of Third-Party Services

  • SurestPay works by integrating with third-party APIs and services, including banks, telecom providers, and utility companies.

  • We are not responsible for errors, delays, or failures caused by these third parties. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve such issues but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

6. Wallet Usage

  • You may fund your SurestWallet to use the Services.

  • Wallet balances are not bank deposits and do not earn interest.

  • We are not liable for losses caused by third-party failures or delays after funds are successfully transferred from your wallet to a service provider.

7. Surest Patience Reward

SurestPay may, at its sole discretion, offer a "Surest Patience Reward" to users who experience verified inconveniences caused directly by our platform.

  • Eligibility is not automatic and is subject to internal verification.

  • Rewards range between ₦50 to ₦500 airtime, and the exact amount is determined by SurestPay based on transaction history, impact, and business discretion.

  • Each user is eligible for a maximum total of ₦500 in Patience Rewards per calendar year. Once this limit is reached, further rewards will no longer be available — except in rare cases at our discretion.

  • This reward is a goodwill gesture only and does not constitute a refund, compensation, or legal obligation of any kind.

8. User Responsibilities

By using our Services, you agree to:

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes.

  • Refrain from fraudulent or deceptive activities.

  • Respect intellectual property rights.

  • Not interfere with or disrupt our Services.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on our Services belong to SurestPay or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SurestPay shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Errors, delays, or interruptions in the Services.

  • Losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

  • Failures of third-party services used to deliver payments.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, power failures, internet outages, cyberattacks, or upstream service provider failures.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SurestPay and its affiliates from any claims or losses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

14. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of the Services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

17. Privacy Policy
